The ‘Daily Impact’ interpretation reflects the impact of the Sun and Earth (70% of the neutrino influence) on what happens in the world as time moves us through the Gates and Lines of the Human Design wheel.
What is offered here is a general frame to the day, especially in terms of external conditioning and potential identification with the power of the Sun’s influence through a particular Gate theme. Also consider what is written about the grounding effect of the Gate in the Earth position of the day. Take note of the Line of the day and think about the quality of the Line and the Rave I Ching cryptic sentence. And, of course, pay attention to any Channels that may be formed on the day, as that Life Force will most certainly be relevant to whatever happens.
For those of you who are more familiar with the Gates and Channels, pay attention to the chart of the day which shows us the detail of the day’s imprint. Look for Gates that may join a ‘hanging’ Gate in your chart, notice the planetary accent it has and ponder upon its relevance to your day. Above all else, ‘The Daily Impact’ is a tool to assist subscribers to witness themselves living their life within ‘The Program’ and becoming more aware by observing the themes unfold.
Keynote: THE GATE OF HIGHER KNOWING

Keynote: Sensitivity to disharmony and atrophy.
Exalted: The importance of aesthetics whether inborn or acquired. Higher knowing through aesthetics.
Detriment: The assertion of ego in spite of wisdom. The urge for action that will ignore the wisdom of the Higher Self.
* The Full Moon. The gravity of it pulls the oceans into their waves. It is to me, a symbol of the inner gravity that pulls us towards a direction in life that fulfils our creative muse and brings forth a life of beauty. The allure most of us share when we look at a Full Moon and gasp with its awesome magnetism of beauty. The Wheel in the illustration shows us the Gate 2 begins the Quarter of Civilisation - a deeply Yin quarter that is expresses through the creation of forms through the body; whether that be dance or art or travel or writing etc. It teaches us that true expression comes from being aligned to our uniqueness.
With Gate 2 in the Sun’s position, you will feel the pull of an inner directedness. There will be a tendency to follow a path that can align you towards beauty and harmony and away from dissonance and atrophy.
This transiting impact is about being receptive, open to a unique vision that is in alignment with your sense of beauty and balance. Gate 2 is the seat of the mysterious Magnetic Monopole that is responsible for holding us together in the illusion of our separateness and giving us our direction. It emanates the frequency of how you are living your life. So, with Gate 2 in the Sun you may consider whether your life is truly being lived according to what is harmonious for you or not.
Gate 2 in the G Centre looks to Gate 14, the power resources to ‘fund’ a life lived through the vision of the ‘Higher Self’. In this sense, during this transit, you could also be thinking about your financial resources or those who may be able to empower the vision of you living life in a more harmonious way. As an Individual Gate it does carry the potential of melancholy and this may well come up when you consider any disparity between your unique vision for your life and the material demands to sustain it.
This Gate reflects an extraordinary Hexagram that is purely Yin. This is the time to be receptive to the preciousness of uniqueness within you. Go deep into that and a direction to manifest what is truly special in you may begin to appear. There is both a relief and a deep sense of wholeness that emerges from being in alignment with one’s creativity – however it shows itself.
The emergence of the uniqueness can be seen as the Sun’s effect is grounded in the Gate 1, the Gate of Self-expression. As you acknowledge your unique self-expression and the joy it brings to you, whether others appreciate it or not, you can open the door for more originality to emerge.
This transit reminds us not to die with our music still inside us. During this time, open to the inner vision that serves who you are. Don’t let the mundane world distract you from this opportunity to align to yourself.
Gate 2 looks to Gate 14. If you only have Gate 14 (but not Gate 2) in your chart during this transit know that Gate 14 is the Gate of Power Skills. You have the power. It may be energy, it may be money or it may be simply a knowing that you have so much to contribute but do not know where to put your energy. So, a new direction, in Gate 2, comes to meet your energy. Wow! This could be a time when you get to align with a direction in life that fits with your energetic power and takes you into something completely new, and which is experienced as being deeply and personally “right” for you. Like stepping through a doorway into a new world designed for someone with your particular energy. It may also bring knowing about what is necessary in terms of resources and can really get you towards a inner state that moves you towards outer-readiness to live according to your own sense of beauty and harmony. We are all unique. However, not everyone has this power of Gate 14. Once you are aligned to a vision that fits with your Higher Self it is a path that will show you that money comes as a result of service. That service comes in response and the work you do that brings you satisfaction. A win-win. You moving in your unique direction will serve others and more energy and more money comes to you. If you are not moving in the ‘right’ direction, then even that which you have can be taken from you. This may also be a time when you consider the resistance you are meeting in your life if you are going in the wrong direction and the melancholy of how “it could be”. Bread alone is not enough. Survival alone does not enrich the spirit. You may ask yourself “Is what I am doing with my energy worth it to me?” For those with Gate 14 in an Open (White) Sacral Centre, beware of working too hard to build a way to a more aesthetic and harmonious life. Instead consider where the resources may be, in terms of money or personnel, to empower you in emerging into a life that fits you well. Don’t be tempted to borrow money in unsustainable amounts, to prop up the vision that empowers you during this time. Follow your Strategy and Authority.
This is the Line of the ‘Investigator’. So this may well be a day when we are introspective in our own investigations.
Security is a theme related to the 1st Line and this is a good day to consider those areas where we may be weak now, and where we could be stronger once we delve deeper into whatever that weakness may be. Where there is insecurity, one can become more secure and more self-sufficient.
So it’s a good day for researching and studying the details that we may not have been ready to deal with before.
There is a natural empathy in the 1st Line when it comes to being open to further information on something that interests us. So be open to learning more on this day.
Being self-absorbed is a fundamental theme and so this is not a particularly good time for socialising, unless we will learn something by meeting others.
As a bonding strategy, the 1st Line theme is pursuer / pursued so be aware of this conditioning around people today. Are we pursuing someone or something and surprised about how direct we can be? Is someone pursuing us, for personal or work-related reasons?
There is also an Authoritarian flavour to the 1st Line themes. Investigators go deep into the foundations out of a feeling of insecurity and become experts in the process. Are we being more authoritarian in our specialised field than usual? Do we notice the exchange of deep information going out from us or coming in to us from others today?
The Aspired-to Role is creativity. So we may find ourselves being creative in our own self-absorbed, investigative processes today.
Get to know the themes of the Lines as they come by as regular cycles throughout the weeks and months. As you track them, even occasionally, you will become more and more aware of the Program within which we live. Don’t let the conditioning of the day take you away from following your Strategy and Authority. Just look deeper into what is happening to you and around you.
Take this transit as an opportunity to see these themes occur within and around you. As you see them you will then have the opportunity to consider that you yourself may indeed be a pattern in a larger Program, as described by The Human Design System. If you can verify the truth of the transiting Gates in your life today, then I trust it will remind you to come back to following your Strategy and Authority - for that is the way to play the game. It is the way to wake up mechanically and experience what it is like to flow along in your life as yourself, without the resistance that comes from trying to live a conditioned life in a ‘Not-self’ world.
As we notice the daily impact upon our own Human Design imprint during the day, we naturally grow in our awareness of ourselves and the adventure of what it is to be alive in a world that is constantly conditioning us.
Those who are Reflectors can align to the daily transit, paying particular attention to the drive of the Moon. The rest of us, Manifestors, Generators and Projectors are here to resist the conditioning in terms of our decision-making and learn from it to increase our wisdom.
